Privacy Policy

We hold personal data only because an order cannot be delivered without it. What we keep, who it goes to and how long it stays are all set out below.

Personal data we handle

  • Order details: What goes on the shipping label and the order confirmation: name, address, PIN, phone, email
  • Order history: The transaction record: goods, dates, amounts, invoice numbers
  • Payment result: A success or failure flag and the transaction reference; approval credentials never reach this site
  • Messages: Support correspondence attached to the order
  • Site usage: Cart session data and anonymous page-view statistics

What it is used for

Everything listed is used for fulfilment and support. Calaro Trading does not run advertising or scoring of any kind.

Disclosure

  • Delivery partners — Delhivery or XpressBees, who see the shipping label data only
  • Payment rails, which return a success or failure and a reference
  • Our hosting and email providers, who store the data on our behalf under contract
  • Public authorities, where a law or court order compels it

We do not sell personal data, rent it, or hand it to data brokers. No list of our customers has ever been for sale and none will be.

Storage period

Order and tax records remain for as long as required by law; unrelated correspondence does not.

Your entitlements

Access, correction, erasure and withdrawal of consent are yours under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, subject only to records we must keep by law.

Use concierge@calarotrading.shop, writing from the email on the order. We deal with such requests within 30 days without charge.

Cookies

The cookies this site sets are the ones a shop cannot work without: keeping your basket between pages and remembering a logged-in session. Blocking them in your browser breaks checkout but nothing else.

Security

We encrypt the connection, limit who can reach the order data, and hold no payment credentials at all.

A breach would be reported to the affected individuals and the authority under the DPDP Act.

Grievance contact

The proprietor of Calaro Trading is the grievance officer for data matters. Complaints to concierge@calarotrading.shop are acknowledged inside two days.
